Northland Pioneer College does offer learning contracts to students under special circumstances; such as when a student cannot obtain a class needed to complete their degree. Students must meet with an academic adviser and complete an application form which is then forwarded to the appropriate dean. If approved by the dean, a course plan will be developed. Students are not guaranteed approval of their learning contract request and may need to work with their adviser to request a substitution course for their degree requirements.
Cost of a leaning contract is based on the number of credits earned and the current tuition and fee rate.
