SOAR
College Success Strategies is a FREE, orientation course intended to introduce students to various NPC resources, guidance and support from faculty, staff and peers to fully develop academic and life skills. The course has one, in-person session, then students complete the remaining six course modules online at their own pace before registration begins for the following semester.
First-time NPC students and returning or transfer students with 12 or fewer credit hours are required to complete this course. Students taking only noncredit and online POS classes do not have to take this course. Current students who fail to complete this course before the end of the current semester will have a HOLD placed on their account that will block them from future registration.
