Academic credit (also known as “credit hours”) is the value assigned to each college course you take. You earn academic credit by enrolling in and completing college courses with passing grades. The amount of credit you receive after completing a course varies based on the length of the class. Some classes at NPC do not earn any credits (noncredit) and will not apply toward a degree or certificate. Always speak to an academic adviser to ensure you are taking the correct classes for your degree/program.
